Recruitment: BASIX is an equal opportunities employer and has been following a recruitment system which requires the applicants for all positions to visit field operations, interact with customers and staff to facilitate mutual assessment. We seek people with dual competencies – sound commercial sense and understanding of social issues.
Training - All the staff is provided with a combination of classroom and on-the-job induction, where the new colleague familiarizes him/herself with the customer profile and relationship, products and services, methodologies, monitoring tools and the management information system. BASIX emphasizes the training and development of all staff and invests a substantial amount of time and resources on it.
HR Development for the Sector: This is done through
- providing exposure to BASIX operations;
- offering internship to students from academic institutions, NGOs etc;
- offering Livelihood Training Module to Development Practitioners; and
- Senior Managers of BASIX also serve as resource persons in training programs offered by educational institutions, NGOs, MFIs etc.
